EU-Asia Biomass Best Practices & Business Partnering Conference 2012

The EUMCCI is a supporting organization for the EU-Malaysia Biomass Sustainable Production Initiative (Biomass-SP), a project funded by the European Union (EU) under the SWITCH-Asia Programme, led by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and jointly promoted by the Association of Environmental Consultants and Companies of Malaysia (AECCOM), the European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA), and the Danish Technological Institute (DTI) who will be hosting the EU-Asia Biomass Best Practices & Business Partnering Conference 2012 from 7 to 10 May 2012 at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Shaking handsThis initiative comprises of International Conference, Business Match-Making Event, Business Exhibition andWorkshops. The project aims to improve the competitiveness of biomass companies in both the European (EU) and Asian regions via trade and investment, joint venture, technology transfer and cooperation, sharing of best practices and know-how transfer within the key priority sectors of biomass industry especially those involved in bioenergy, biofertilisers, high value chemicals and biofuels, eco-products and green building materials.

The types of biomass stakeholders we are looking at as the prospective participants of the EU-Asia Biomass Best Practices & Business Partnering Conference 2012 are Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Large-Medium Corporations (LMCs), and Multi-National Corporation (MNCs) in the following biomass supply chain:
