EU Trade & Investment Mission 2012
With companies in the Czech Republic and Poland showing great interest in Malaysia for events like IGEM 2012 and specific industry sectors such as automotive, green technology and ICT, (given Poland’s interesting green technology accelerator project GREENEVO, for environmentally sound solutions and technologies) the trade mission to the two countries held in April was a positive step. EU-Malaysia Trade Forum 2012
The EU-Malaysia Trade Forum this year is themed Enhancing Cooperation: Innovation, Industry and Investment. THis one day forum will commence with a plenary session on services sector - generating investments in targeted growth areas followed by 2 breakout sessions led by representatives from PEMANDU, MIDA, Matrade and top leaders from Malaysia. The third edition of the EUMCCI Trade Issues and Recommendation 2012 book, a valuable source of trade and investment will be launched at the EU Malaysia Trade Forum. The publication contains information covering all key sectors where EUMCCI has established 13 Committees. |
EU-Asia Biomass Best Practices & Business Partnering Conference
The EUMCCI is a supporting organization for the EU-Malaysia Biomass Sustainable Production Initiative (Biomass-SP), a project funded by the European Union (EU) under the SWITCH-Asia Programme, led by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and jointly promoted by the Association of Environmental Consultants and Companies of Malaysia (AECCOM), the European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA), and the Danish Technological Institute (DTI) who will be hosting the EU-Asia Biomass Best Practices & Business Partnering Conference 2012 from 7 to 10 May 2012 at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. IGEM 2012
IGEM 2011 was a great success, both for the EU Pavilion - which once again won an award for Most Creative Pavilion - and the exhibition and conference as a whole. With almost 50,000 visitors from over 40 countries, the word about GreenTech and Eco Products from Malaysia and around the world is definitely spreading!

EU Funding and Investment
